    Los Angeles –The major Hollywood studios have been awarded multi-million dollar judgments against the illegal linking websites Showstash.com and Cinematube.com. A federal judge in Los Angeles yesterday issued a $2.7 million judgment against Showstash for the infringement of over a hundred popular copyrighted motion pictures and television shows. On May 7, a federal judge awarded the studios a similar judgment against Cinematube for $1.3 million.

    The Dutch hosting provider NFOrce at the eleventh hour complied with the demands from piracy fighter BREIN. The hosting provider disconnected the site and disclosed the identity of their customer. By complying with BREIN’s demands NFOrce averted a court hearing scheduled for tomorrow.

    Los Angeles – In a significant victory for the major Hollywood studios, a federal judge in Los Angeles has issued a $110 million judgment for the infringement of thousands of popular copyrighted motion pictures and television shows. The court also issued a permanent injunction prohibiting defendant from further infringing any of the studios’ copyrighted works.
